Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I get a professional end of lease clean?
Getting a professional end-of-lease clean ensures that the property is returned to the owner in a clean condition. It enhances the likelihood of recovering your bond by restoring the property to its original condition. Professional cleaners possess the expertise to meet the expectations of the Canberra rental market. By entrusting the cleaning to professionals, you save valuable time and effort, during the already stressful moving process. Investing in professional end-of-lease cleaning is not just about meeting obligations; it's about ensuring a seamless departure from your rental property whilst safeguarding your interests and maintaining a positive rental history in the city's competitive real estate market.
Why are certain items excluded?
Where there is high potential for damage, we don’t offer the service in our standard clean service. eg fly screens and light fittings. We also want our cleaners to be safe, so we do not offer cleaning of inaccessible areas. In terms of stains on items, we do not want to set the expectation that they will be removed as some stains just cannot be removed. We will try to remove stains, using standard cleaning products only.
How long before my inspection date should I book an end of lease clean?
It's best to book as soon as you know when you'll be moving out of the property. Also, to ensure the property is completely empty, allow yourself an extra day over and above the timeframe you think it will take you to move out. We cannot clean a property unless it is completely empty. Whilst sometimes we can accommodate last minute changes, there is always a chance we won't have availability to do your clean if you leave it to the last minute to book, or notify us of a change. Ensure you carefully read all our terms & conditions before booking. NEVER book a clean on the day of your exit inspection. We recommend you leave at least 2 days between the clean and your exit inspection, as this allows time for the carpet to dry (if you have booked carpet cleaning) and time for you to inspect the cleaning. If for some reason our staff have missed something, you can contact us within 2 business days and we'll come back and rectify.
